There are tons of nail oils, creams and serums in the market and while some of them work well, they don’t include most of the the natural ingredients. That’s why with most things I like making my own at home with natural ingredients and 100% essential oils.
Cold weather can be tough on skin and cuticles, and can often form dry spots and crack. Making a homemade nail and cuticle oil a great way to bring moisture and health back to your nails.
Oil helps brighten weak and dull looking nails and makes them look whiter. The high vitamin C content nourishes the cuticle and strengthens nails.
Frankincense Essential Oil
One of the most ancient essential oils, frankincense is another one of the best essential oils for nail growth. It also protects the cuticle from infection and peeling because of its moisturizing properties and fights off nail fungus that is known to slow down nail growth.
Myrrh Essential Oil
An oil I would chose over every other essential oil. Myrrh is said to be the best essential oils for nail growth – it has wonderful moisturizing properties that protect the cuticles from dryness and the nails from brittleness, thinning and easy breakage.
Vitamin E Oil
Vitamin E is very rich to nourish your nail cuticles, preventing it from breaking and dryness. Fingernails and toe nails grow healthier and faster with proper nourishment. Vitamin E oil repairs the damage of the cuticle due to nail paint and acetone.
