Live Clean Fresh Face Collection – Review

Live Clean is quite popular in my house. When your 9 year old son tells you to repurchase their products especially their Moisturizing Body Washes you know it’s good. Live Clean is well known for their soaps, body washes and shampoos but now they have released a facial skincare line that is just as fabulous.

Live Clean Fresh Face™ is a luxurious and prestige collection of eco-friendly skin care promising exceptional performance with natural plant based ingredients and pure essential oils. Unique active system of Botanical Orchid-C Complex™ featuring Orchid – the eternal youth flower, Vitamin C and Certified Organic Botanicals.

Foaming Daily Cleanser (14.99)
Since using this foaming daily cleanser my skin has felt so much softer does a great job in removing not only dirt but makeup as well.  This cleanser removes impurities, excess oil, and makeup. Foamy not creamy, it’s perfect if you’re looking for a facial cleanser that’s oil free but still protective and moisturizing. The Orchid extract seals in moisture ans replenishes skin’s moisture barrier and Vitamin C boosts radiance. If you have dry skin like don’t let the oil free aspect scare you because this is one soothing cleanser.  Certified Organic Lavender, Cucumber Chamomile, Milk Thistle, Mallow, Aloe and Buckthorn calm and destress the skin.

Soothing Daily Moisturizer ($19.99)
This soothing lightweight daily moisturizer is formulated for all skin types. It hydrates the skin efficiently leaving the skin smooth, replenished and comfortable. The Orchid extract seals in moisture and replenishes the ski. I have been using this everyday after using the foaming daily cleanser and it’s definitely very lightweight. It doesn’t have a thick consistency like a body butter. I personally prefer a thicker consistency because I don’t feel like this moisturizer hydrates my dry skin enough. It’s perfect if you have oily skin, I just don’t think it’s enough to use on it’s own if you have extreme dry skin like I do.

Refreshing Facial Wipes ($9.99 / 30Wipes)
Makeup wipes are a must have for me.  I always use them to remove suborn mascara or if I’m preparing swatches and need something quick to remove the swatches with. These oil/alcohol-free wipes from Live Clean are infused with all the goodness that’s found in the creamy cleanser. Nicely textured and generously sized, the wipes have just the right amount of moisture and they do a great job at gently removing face makeup, lipsticks, and most eye makeup. The packaging comes with a resealable lid that keeps the wipes fresh and moist.

About Live Clean
Live Clean launched with the premise that hair care products could be environmentally friendly, highly effective, and a pleasure to use. Go Green without compromising performance! That was their goal when they introduced Live Clean into Canada with just six hair care products: three shampoos and three conditioners for normal, dry and fine hair that requires extra volume.
