Get Flawless Makeup Every Time With Shadow Shields – Review & Photos

Don’t you hate eyeshadow fall out or mascara smudges. Have you just wanted to master the perfect wing liner look or have you wanted a crisp clean lipstick application without any hassle. Well thanks to the brainchild of a very creative makeup artist Michelle Villanueva you can easily achieve that with the help of a very innovative product called shadow shields. This product is so life changing I’m wondering where they have been all my life.

As seen on E! News, The TODAY Show and in ‘O, The OPRAH Magazine,’ Shadow Shields are being used by top celebrity makeup artists and giving everyday women the confidence they need to apply eye makeup like a pro!

What Are Shadow Shields
Shadow shields are small pads that have a sticky side on the back that you can place underneath your eyes to catch any fall out you might experience. The pads have a half moon shape that have adhesive all over the back. The great thing about these shields is you don’t need to waste a pad for every application because you can remove only a tiny section from the back and remove more of the adhesive for your next application.  The shape of the pad fits perfectly to the contour of the eyes.

There are plenty of products on the market that prevent eyeshadow fall out but I love using these shadow shields because not only do they prevent fall out but they also create a nice crisp edge to the outer corner of the eye simple and creates a perfect winged out shadow/liner effect.

Benefits Of Using Shadow Shields

  • Protects the under eye area from eyeshadow fall out
  • Creates a straight edge for shadow
  • Helps perfect the winged cat eye look
  • Prevents messy mascara smudges
  • Aids in perfecting lipstick application
  • Self adhesive
  • Eliminates mess
  • Hands free

Overall I think these shadow shields are a beauty must have. If you use a lot of pigments from MAC or any other shadows that tend to produce a lot of fall out these shadow shields are phenomenal. The price is so affordable and I love that there is adhesive all around the back which makes reusing these pads easy and wallet friendly.

It’s true, this seems to be such an amazing product! I would love to find it and to use it, for sure, it’s annoying when eye shadows fall and ruin some part of the makeup! Hope you have a very nice weekend!

I will like to have this makes applying makeup easier.

  • Sometimes I use tape, but I like the idea of these shadow shields 🙂

    • Yes I used to use tape but it can be harsh and it doesn’t really catch all fall out like these do.

  • Kay (shoesandglitter)

I like the idea of those pads, but personally, my trick for avoiding fall out is to apply eye makeup first, then foundation at the end. 🙂 That way I can clean up my face without ruining any makeup. <3

    • That’s a great way I always apply my face makeup first but these pads are also really good to create a clean cat eye.

  • Love the idea of shadow shields! I don’t typically do smokey eyes, but I can definitely see these being extremely helpful!

  • This is seems like such a great product! I’m not at all gifted in the area of makeup, haha, so products like these are heaven sent, specifically for creating that winged out effect that I love! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you’re having a great start to your week so far!

  • I’ve been meaning to try these since they came out! I used to do a lot of smokey eyes, and these would have been great. I really like doing my foundation first before anything, and the shadow fall out was always such a pain to clean up.
    Thanks for the review:)

  • Dom

Sounds like something I need! I always put on my eyeshadow first before foundation for this reason! Great review! Xo
