The Hand Chemistry Retin-Oil is a highly concentrated, dry body oil that combines vitamins C and E along with deep-sea red algae, Amazonian oils to enhance skin, as well as an anti-aging retinoid complex.
This dry body oil is said to help the following in as little as 2 weeks;
I am always interested in trying out body oils, not only in the winter but also in the summer because my dry skin doesn’t go away when the winter season goes away. Hand Chemistry claims you will notice improvement in your skin within just 2 weeks of regular use. This dry body oil is a 1% Retinoid Complex that helps scars, stretch marks, aging and dehydrated skin. It includes Vitamin C and E, Amazonian oils and deep red sea algae to help target scars, stretch marks, cellulite, aging skin, dehydrated areas, surface irregularities and discoloration. The oil has a light orange scent that does not linger once applied and absorbed into the skin. Although I do wish it was completely unscented.
I use a few dry oils so my expectations for this product was high right from the get go. I don’t have issues with stretch marks so I just usually apply this oil right after my bath shower for hydration and almost immediately it absorbs into my skin without feeling greasy and without any oily film. My skin does in fact feel smoother and has actually evened out my skin tone. My legs which are usually the most dry feel so soft and subtle which almost never happens. It feels very moisturizing but I don’t think it would completely help my dry itchy skin in the colder months, for that I would need something more thicker and moisturizing. Overall I would highly recommend checking out this body oil if you have stretch marks, scars, aging skin or just want to add more hydration in your skincare routine.
