Use on the face to apply, blend or contour powder products. Softly rounded dome tip delivers just enough color; smoothly blends color into the face. Of natural fibres.
So this is my review for the MAC 109 Contour Brush. I’ve had this brush for a couple years now, I had originally bought this brush because I was not happy with my MAC 187 stippling brush for liquid foundation. I had heard great reviews about the 109 brush and how well it applied liquid foundation so I had to give it a try.
The main product I use this brush for is liquid foundation. It is a firm and dense brush so it buffs in the foundation so nicely. The brush itself is pretty small compared to the 187 brush so it does take me longer to apply the foundation, but after seeing the end result. it’s totally worth it. The one thing I absolutely hate about this brush is the shedding. This brush sheds like no other brush I have used. I literally have to pick off 4-5 hairs off my face after I’ve applied the foundation. I know this brush wasn’t made for liquid or cream products, but it is still annoying.
This brush is amazing for contouring your temples and the hollow of the cheeks. It’s the perfect size for the job. It blends any harsh lines out perfectly so you don’t end up with that obvious contour line in the hollow of your cheeks.
I have tried using this brush for cream blushes, and it’s a big disaster. It sheds way too much. In general I don’t like using this brush for any type of blushes whether it’s a powder blush or a cream blush. This brush is way to dense and 9 times out of 10 your going to apply way to much product on your cheeks.

What I Don’t Like
