Grapefruit oil is non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing and although listed as non-phototoxic, it can irritate the skin if exposed to strong sunlight after treatment.
Extracted from Grapefruit found on large lustrous trees native to Asia but commonly grown in California. The essential oil is derived from the Grapefruit peel. Grapefruit essential oil is one of my favorite oils and I use it every single day. It smells amazing and has countless benefits. I find even people who are not a fan of grapefruit really like the scent of this oil.
During massages, Grapefruit stimulates the senses while beautifying the skin. Known for its mild euphoric properties, it settles emotions and restores balance. The earliest records of Grapefruits were found in the West Indies during the early eighteenth century. Florida was home to the first planted Grapefruit trees in 1820.

Curb Sugar Cravings
Inhale directly from bottle or add 1-2 drops of oil to water or take in capsule form to curb sugar cravings.
Reduces yeast and bacteria responsible for candida
Mix 2 drops of grapefruit essential oil with coconut oil and massage on the area of concern once a day.
Regulate the digestive system bu adding a drop of grapefruit oil to a glass of water or massage diluted oil onto the abdomen.
Diffuse throughout a room, apply topically diluted or inhale directly from the bottle.
Use aromatically or massage diluted oil on the soles of the feet.
Add 1-2 drops to a glass of water. Diffuse throughout a room or inhale directly. If taking this oil internally it’s important you increase your water intake.

I personally add 2 each of grapefruit, peppermint and lemon essential oil to a vegetable capsule and take that internally once a day. It’s great for weight loss and detoxifies the liver.
