Skin Tone adapting concealer. 2 in 1 concealer and highlighter in a clever tube with an application brush. Banish signs of fatigue and illuminate the eye area. With an oxygen complex. Lets skin breathe.
A simple squeeze tube that that comes with a synthetic brush. The brush applicator reminds me of the Yves St. Laurent Touche Eclat Radiant Touch concealer/highlighter pen which is a neat idea but can be very unsanitary.
I have been testing out this product for about four months before reviewing it. The first thing I noticed about this concealer was just how much it covers my dark circles. I only need a tiny amount and it totally covers up any imperfections on my skin and brightens up my under eye area. I apply the product directly under my eye with the brush it comes with and blend it out with a synthetic concealer brush. Unlike most concealers this product doesn’t look cakey and it’s very lightweight. It blends effortlessly and lasts me about six to seven hours. I always set the concealer with a powder like the MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural. It applies very smoothly on my skin ad feels very creamy so it’s a great product if you have dry skin.
Rimmel claims this product can be used as a face highlighter but I don’t think there is enough shimmer in the product for it be used as a highlighter. I don’t even really see any shimmer in it at all. Which is perfectly fine with me since I bought this product to only use as a concealer for my dark circles. My biggest issue with this concealer is the shade selection. I find that Rimmel tends to have a limited selection of shades to choose from so if you are lucky you can find a shade that’s suits you or you might need to mix a couple of shades together to achieve your perfect shade.
