Exaggerate Lip Liner is a soft textured, fine tipped automatic liner that gives full volume colour definition to the lips.
Well if you are a regular reader here then you know if I am wearing lipstick then you can bet I’m wearing a lip liner. The two go hand in hand in my opinion no matter if it’s a nude lipstick or a bold red. Lip liners are extremely important, they define your lips and they act as a base for you lipstick resulting in longer lasting lips. I try to avoid buying high end lip liners because let’s face it a lip liner is a lip liner. I find I have better luck with drugstore lip liners anyways. The Rimmel London Exaggerate Automatic Lip Liner in Addiction is a nice brownish nude shade that compliments a wide range of nude lipsticks. It’s a must have lip liner and I always carry it around in my makeup bag.
This lip liner is very creamy which is a rare trait when it comes to lip pencils. This one does not feel drying and glides on very smoothly on my lips. Of course it’s always best to exfoliate and condition the lips before application. Since this is an automatic pencil sharpening is not needed and it has an angled tip which makes precise application even easier. Since the texture is on the softer creamier side it can break easily even with light pressure which is a shame because the amount of product in this lip liner is already less then what comes in a typical lip pencil.
What I Like
- Smooth texture
- No sharpening required
- Non drying
- Wide selection of shades available
What I Don’t Like
