“Transform your brows with these essential brow products. This kit contains BDB’s Best Selling products in one incredible kit!”
This past year I have paid a lot more attention to my brows. Brows make such a huge difference and can frame your face. Thankfully everyone can have beautiful brows now with the Billion Dollar Brow Eyebrow Kit. Included in this kit is a Universal Brow Pencil, Brow Gel, Duo Brow Pencil and a Smudge Brush (all full size). The best part about this kit is it’s only $34.99 (a $68 value) and will be available at Kohl’s starting in October
Universal Brow Pencil – “No more guessing games! Formulated to work with all skin tones & hair colors, this amazing eyebrow pencil goes on smooth and natural. Perfect for creating beautiful, natural brows whether you are a blonde or a brunette. Best of all, the Billion Dollar Brow Pencil is automatic, it always stays sharp, and requires no pencil sharpener.”
I will be the first to admit I don’t like using brow pencils. They never end up looking natural on me so I usually stick to powders to fill in my brows, but surprisingly this double ended Universal Brow Pencil is actually really easy to use and looks very natural when I use hair like strokes. The consistency of this brow pencil is firm but creamy enough for easy application. It has a light waxy feel to it. This shade would suit a wide range of skin tones so it’s a very universal brow pencil like the name suggests. This brow pencil comes with a spoolie which I like to use to blend in the brow pencil with my natural brow hairs.
Duo Brow Pencil – Two in One! Highlighter & Concealer. Gel picture perfect brows with the secret weapon of BDB Salon. Our Brow Duo Highlighter allows you to highlight your browbone to add gorgeous definition and warmth. Works with any skin tone. Plus, for those on-the-go touch-ups, we’ve also added a handy universal concealer to the opposite end of the pencil.”
This is by far my favorite product within this kit. It’s my secret weapon for creating polished brows. The highlighter end of this pencil adds the perfect amount of highlight underneath the brow bone which makes my brows pop. The concealer end hides blemishes and discoloration. Both ends are extremely creamy and highly pigmented. Both ends blend effortlessly into the skin. You can even use the concealer and or highlighter on your waterline to make your eyes look larger. Overall it’s a great multi purpose product and I couldn’t recommend this pencil enough.
Brow Gel – “You wouldn’t leave the house with messy hair, why settle for messy brows? Hold & control! Our Brow Gel will lock in your look, giving your eyebrows a long-lasting, radiant glow while keeping them perfectly in place all day. It’s the perfect finishing touch for giving your brows a polished, perfectly manicured look. Plus, we guarantee our Brow Gel never flakes. Our clear Brow Gel is made from the highest quality ingredients, ensuring an all day hold.”
The Brow Gel is usually the last step in the process in filling in the brows. The purpose of this gel is to tame brow hairs and set your brows. I also like to apply this brow gel on days when I am too lazy to fill in my brows. I just apply a layer of this gel and I’m good to go.
Smudge Brush – “Essential for applying Brow Highlighter. Get your smudge on! This flat, synthetic brush is the ideal mate for applying creamy cosmetics like our Brow Duo Pencil.”
I have to be honest, when I first seen this brush I really didn’t have hopes for it. It just reminded me of the MAC 212 eyeliner brush, but this brush works fabulously with the highlighter/concealer pencil. This synthetic brush is very soft but still has a nice firmness to it making blending out the highlight shade under my brow bone very easy.
I think this is an excellent kit for beginners or if you are looking for new ways to fill in your brows. It’s priced really well and I think it’s definitely worth the money. I really like the consistency of the Universal Brow Pencil, the application is really easy and the staying power is great. However I do wish a pressed powder eyeshadow was included in this kit since there are a lot of people who struggle with using a brow pencil and using a pressed powder seems to be the easiest way of filling in brows. My favorite product by far is the concealer/highlighter pencil. I love how creamy and pigmented it is. I will definitely be purchasing that pencil in the future.
