Sonia Kashuk is a popular budget friendly cosmetic brand that is available at Target. Thankfully hundreds of Target locations have opened up in Canada but before Target was available in Canada I knew I had to try out this concealer and I drove three hours across the border for this palette. I know crazy right but what can I say I’m a beauty addict.

The Sonia Kashuk Concealer Palette comes in a travel friendly sleek white packaging that has the added benefit of a magnetic lid which shuts securely ensuring the concealer won’t make a mess in your makeup bag. It has a transparent lid so you can see the shades very easily. Overall I love the packaging. It doesn’t look cheap and feels very sturdy.

The four shades that are included in this concealer are a salmon, light beige, dirty green and a highly pigmented powder that is perfect for setting cream based products.  The texture feels very creamy and blends very easily into my dry skin. I know some people have complained about this concealer palette feeling dry but I have personally never had any issues with the consistency. Unlike other budget friendly concealer palettes the Sonia Kashuk one is highly pigmented. I wouldn’t go as far and say it’s a full coverage concealer that will cover up tattoos but for the average blemishes and dark circles it does a great job in concealing those problem areas. It’s also very buildable.

This concealer quad is only available in one shade which is great if you have light to medium skin tones. I love that you can mix and match shades to create the perfect shade to match your under eyes. The bad news is this concealer quad unfortunately won’t work well for darker skin tones.

Overall I think this concealer quad is a great value for the money. For under $10 you receive four shades that feel creamy and has medium buildable coverage. I really like that there is a powder included in this palette since it's always a good idea to set cream concealers so having a powder handy is really helpful. For those who have very dark under eye circles I would look for a concealer palette that provides a thicker heavier coverage but for the average blemishes this is a great concealer quad to have on hand.
