Makeup Geek Gel Liners – Review, Pictures & Swatches

Product Description
“Get the same precision as a liquid liner with our easily applied gel based liner. The eyeliners glide on with ease and dry to a water-resistant, smudge-proof finish that won’t fade or crease. With their intense color and rich pigmentation, these long lasting liners are sure to make a standing impression.”

I am so happy to reviewing some Makeup Geek Gel Liners. There are a total of 11 shades in the line and today I will be reviewing 5 of the shades. Within the 11 different shades there is a nice mix of both shimmer and matte finishes.

These gel liners come in cute glass jars much like the MAC Fluidlines but I love Makeup Geek’s packaging a lot better because they have a flat top making stacking and storing them much easier. These liners are water resistant and smudge proof as well with excellent pigmentation and texture.

Makeup Geek Immortal Gel Liner

Immortal “A true intense black color with a matte finish.”
Immortal is your basic black eyeliner. I love that it’s very opaque and also glides on very easily.

Makeup Geek Gel Liners Treasure

Treasure “A true bright golden yellow with a metallic shimmery finish.”

This is a gorgeous metallic golden shimmer color which I personally have not used as an eyeliner yet but I have used it as a base for bright yellow makeup looks and it’s fantastic. It’s extremely creamy and a little bit goes a long way.

Makeup Geek Gel Liners Rave

Rave “A dark metallic golden brown shade with a smooth shimmery finish.”

I love Rave because it’s such a unique color for an eyeliner. It’s a beautiful brown color with silver tones. Out of all the liners I have used I love the finish for this shade the most. It’s extremely creamy and glides on effortlessly. This color is also really great to use a base for eyeshadows.

Makeup Geek Gel Liners Fame

Fame  “A dark aquatic teal with a navy undertone and a smooth shimmery finish.”

I love this shade a lot. I love wearing it on my top lash line when I want to create a neutral look but still want to have a pop of color. It does have a drier consistency compared to the other shades but it’s not a huge deal to me. This shade is a must have for me

Makeup Geek Gel Liners Electric

Electric “True bright royal blue with a matte finish.”

I am always drawn to bright blue bold blue eyeliners and Electric is no exception. I have done several makeup looks using this eyeliner. I love how bright it is. What you see in the pot is what you get. It’s not as creamy as the above shades but it’s still easy to work with. It is a matte finish so it might have to do with that. Either way I highly recommend this color if you love to create looks with a pop of color.

Beautetude Approved

I love these eyeliners. They are very pigmented, easy to work with and so affordable. I love how long lasting they are. I can’t use normal makeup remover wipes to remove these liners. I need to use an oil based makeup remover. I like using the MAC Cleanse Off Oil. I really like that there is a wide range of colors and finishes so there is definitely a color for everyone.
