“Preps your eyelid for smoother, longer-lasting and crease-proof eyeshadow. The lightweight liquid formula quickly absorbs into the skin for comfortable wear and increases eye color longevity.”
This primer is available in four shades, Pearl, Golden, Sheer and Champagne. Sheer is a nude color which looks very close to the original Urban Decay Primer Potion. It blends into my skin easily. If you have redness on your lids this shade will not cover it up since the color disappears once you blend it out. The elf eyelid primer does have a thinner consistency then the Urban Decay Primer Potion and it dries fairly quickly.
Now the big question is does this primer really prevent eyeshadow creasing? This primer has never made my eyeshadows crease or fade on me but I do have very dry lids so there aren’t a lot of products that crease on my lids.
The primer might crease if you have oily lids, but I also know a lot of people who do have oily lids and this primer has always worked out great for them.
I love the simplicity of the packaging. Sheer comes in a clear tube so you are able to see how much product is left. The wand comes with a doe foot applicator. I personally don’t mind it but if your not a fan of that type of applicator you might not like this product. The label of the shades are at the bottom of the tube.
